About This Site

Design is all around us. We interact with aspects of design daily— from the objects we touch, the clothes we wear to the websites we visit. I believe that good design is born from necessity and requires a keen eye, thorough understanding and the insight a creative mind can provide. It happens at the rare intersection between art, science and voodoo.

As a former mechanical engineer, I spent a great deal of time studying the fine details of what makes things work and the differences between good and bad creations. Design is in my blood. I prefer to focus on elegant solutions for designs with a touch of humor whenever possible. Practicing UX gives me the freedom to unleash my creativity and pay homage to the ever so important details while keeping the larger picture in mind. It allows me to focus on my core motivations: helping others and making a profound difference in their lives. If it’s done right, the design flows and results just make sense.
